Fire Marshal

At RKC Solution, we recognize the critical importance of selecting the right fire marshal or fire warden services for your site. We prioritize fire safety and take swift action to ensure the safety and well-being of your premises, employees, occupants, and the general public.

Preventing fires is always the best approach, and we pride ourselves on offering flexible and customized solutions tailored to your specific fire safety needs. Our experienced and highly trained staff adhere to all current safety regulations and are equipped to handle a variety of situations. We provide ongoing internal and external training to our fire marshals to ensure they stay updated on the latest procedures and best practices. Our services can be tailored for short-term or long-term coverage and are always competitively priced.

Our fire marshals/wardens are trained to perform the following key responsibilities:

Conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify fire hazards at your site.

Identify and report hazards to the designated "responsible person" in charge.

Remove any unsafe items that are stored inappropriately.

Regularly check and maintain cleanliness in smoking areas, ensuring ashtrays are emptied.

Take immediate and appropriate action in the event of a fire.

Maintain a detailed logbook, recording all relevant information.

Familiarize themselves with the designated assembly point.

Ensure all fire-resisting doors are kept closed and locked when required. Keep escape routes clear and accessible at all times.

Provide guidance and assurance to building residents, directing them to fire escapes.

Conduct fire drills to test alarm systems and emergency procedures.

Fire Marshal

Report any concerns to the designated "responsible person" or contact emergency services when necessary. In the event of a fire, our fire marshals will promptly respond by:

Activating fire alarm systems.

Calling emergency services.

Alerting residents within 10-15 minutes of a smoke alarm activation.

Safely evacuating people from the affected area using practiced routes.

Assisting pregnant individuals or those with disabilities as needed.

Conducting a thorough sweep of each floor to ensure no one is left behind.

Alerting residents by knocking on doors and/or using horns.

Making themselves visible at the designated assembly point.

Our guards undergo industry-leading training to ensure they respond swiftly to every fire alarm activation. They prioritize informing the fire brigade immediately, minimizing potential losses for your business and the public. Whether a fire alarm is real or false, our guards treat each activation with equal priority and handle it appropriately.

Our staff is fully trained to understand the purpose of their role and the tasks they are responsible for during service hours and in the event of a fire. We provide them with general health and safety training, as well as basic first aid training. However, we advise our guards to leave active first aid and firefighting to the experts.

Effective communication is key to our service, and our staff remains in constant contact with each other. We equip our guards with two-way radios to facilitate communication, and our control room is always available to address any queries or concerns raised by the guards. To ensure high visibility, our guards are provided with hi-vis outerwear, allowing them to be easily seen by colleagues and individuals they encounter during patrols. In the event of electrical service suspension due to fire alarm activation, we equip our staff with torches and power backup to ensure they can fulfill their duties, keeping your site safe and guiding people to safety.

To help us fulfill our role effectively, here are some tips to maintain site safety:

Ensure all electrical devices undergo PAT testing.

Keep your health and safety policies up to date.

Conduct regular fire risk assessments.

Establish automatic linkage between your business and the fire service.
